Sponsored by Cornell Cooperative Extension of Ontario County
This 1.5-hr workshop will be an informal woods walk where you will learn how to recognize deer impacts in the forest and get hands on experience establishing AVID plots. The data we collect will help the land trust understand deer impacts, and you will leave feeling confident and ready to establish plots on your own. You can choose your own site, or we will help match
you with a local forest landowner or land trust. You can contribute to this important citizen science project aimed at documenting deer impacts to forest trees across the state!
